Friday, March 1st, 2013

JOHNSTOWN — Community Health Center is proud to be part of a continuing initiative to improve our local health care.

On April 22nd and 23rd, CHC and Innovative Rehabilitation Balance Solutions will be hosting an educational seminar for Physical and Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants.  This event will increase the clinicians' knowledge and understanding regarding falls prevention. This event will take place at the Carondelet Pavillion, St. Mary's Healthcare, in Amsterdam.

Using Functional Classifications for Assessing and Treating Patients with Dizziness, Disequilibrium, and Imbalance is a comprehensive 2-day program. These debilitating conditions are affecting greater numbers of patients in our area and must be addressed.

Professional staff successfully completing the course will receive 16.8 Continuing Education Credits.

This seminar will provide the clinician with the tools necessary to help patients move through the maze of recovery.
