opportunity to go out into the community as a team, supporting
efforts like the 2006 Montgomery County Flood Relief Picnic,
(shown is Human Resources Director Barbara Mosher painting the
face of a local child) and others, like the Muscular Dystrophy
Association, the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk and even
CHC’s own Christmas "Giving Tree" project that
helps local families.

free events during the year provided by the agency's "Activities

a showing of the "Spongebob Squarepants" movie.

DID
YOU KNOW... CHC WAS NAMED ONE OF THE
CAPITAL
DISTRICT BUSINESS REVIEW'S
"GREAT
PLACES TO WORK" IN 2004!
Working
at CHC is a lot of fun! It’s hard work, because we are the
largest home care agency in Fulton and Montgomery counties, and
we want to be the absolute best in the business, but we reward
hard work with great benefits, flexibility in scheduling, monthly
lunches or activities for the staff, and the opportunity for yearly
raises. And, we are a positive agency that works diligently to
be team-oriented and supportive. The CHC Activities Committee
coordinates meals, festivals and other fun activities as a show
of gratitude for its staff members.

therapy staff ham it up on Halloween.
Our
turnover rate is extremely low for the home health care industry,
and it seems that once someone is chosen to join the CHC team,
they don’t want to leave us!
CHC clinicians (RN’s, LPN’s, Therapists, MSW's, RD's,
and others) have the wonderful chance to utilize their skills
on a vast range of patients with many different challenges. Rather
than work in an institution where they are responsible for several
patients at the same time, CHC clinicians get to interact with
their patients one-on-one, and help directly influence the care
plan created by the physician overseeing the case. And an efficient
agency system for billing and record-keeping keeps clinician paperwork
manageable.

Dance" for Jackie Kretser, RN, for a birthday surprise.
